Opening of Memorial Park 2015

Queen Elect Freya and Herald Declan cut the ribbon to officially re-open the Memorial Park on 16 June, following the completion of a large scale programme of improvements. The works carried out, including a new entrance from The Loan and a tarmac roadway around the park, will be of considerable assistance when the park is the location for large scale events such as the afternoon programme on Children's Day.
